Students must complete 60 transferable units, including IGETC general education requirements and prerequisites for their intended major.
TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) secures admission to select UC campuses for students meeting defined course and GPA requirements. Participating schools include UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz, and UC Merced.
UC transfer applications include four personal insight essays, extracurricular involvement records, TAG submission (if applicable), and the general UC application. Private universities may also require recommendation letters or test scores.
